For Flyash Australia at Collie Power Station

The quality of design was a major contributor to the speed of construction when GW Engineers was engaged by Flyash Australia to undertake a number of tasks to develop an remotely controlled flyash loading facility at Collie Power Station. Our role in the project was to: 

• Prepare geotechnical brief and review results
• Prepare survey brief and incorporate date in design
• Undertake materials testing
• Develop a process and instrumentation design
• Carry out detail design for civil, structural, mechanical and electrical work
• Manage statutory approvals
• Call tenders, evaluate and make recommendations
• Act as Superintendent for the contract
• Manage commissioning
