GWE was engaged by Biomass Coffs Harbour Pty Ltd to prepare the design documentation for the Coffs Harbour City Council Resource Recovery Facility. The design included the process system layout, detailed civil and structural design, shop detailing and project construction management.

The plant was commissioned in 2007.
