Energy
The energy industry is diverse, both in terms of the technologies that are applied to the generation, distribution and reticulation of power and to the geographical location of infrastructure. GW Engineers have and continue to provide civil, structural and mechanical engineering services to our clients on projects around Australia and overseas. Our experience extends to projects involving steam and gas turbines, heat recovery steam generators, bag filters and electrostatic precipitators at power stations as well as roads, stormwater management, foundations and structures for substation facilities. We are cognisant of the precision required in many of these installations.
The growth in renewable energy generation, albeit tentative, is established, and with global concerns related to climate change, public and private initiatives are predicted to generate strong growth in this sector. GW Engineers have provided civil and structural engineering services to windfarm projects in remote locations in several of Australia’s southern states where consistently strong winds are experienced.
We continue to be actively involved in this sector.
